Weather

The weather in Iceland in summer typically varies from 5 °C to 25 °C with an average of about 10-11 °C. The temperature is not constant, but often relatively pleasant, because of the hot air coming up from the south due to the gulf stream. Please note though, that the wheather in Iceland can be quite unpredictable, so make sure you bring a a warm sweater and a water-and-wind resistant jacket with you.

Banks

Most of the banks are opened from Monday to Friday from 9:15 to 16.00 hrs. Many banks have a 24-hour cash machine. The currency in Iceland is called krona and is typically equal to about 70-90 krona's per Euro.

The conference organisers are not liable for personal injury or the loss and/or theft of personal possessions of participants during the conference or as a result of the conference. Please check your travel insurance and other forms of insurance before departure.
